Garnet Leather Eau de Parfum - a new fragrance by L'Artisan Parfumeur, inspired by the leather workshops of Morocco. This perfume captures the unique energy of this extraordinary region. The fragrance is part of the Les Merveilles collection, previously known as the L'Orient collection.

Perfumer Christophe Raynaud crafted this new scent for L'Artisan Parfumeur, drawing on his memories of Morocco. During his travels, Raynaud discovered a Moroccan leather workshop and was captivated by the craftsmanship of the leatherworkers and the ambiance. These impressions inspired him to create Cuir Grenat, a leather fragrance. By exploring the interaction with a dimly lit room filled with the rich scent of leather and the aromas accompanying the tanning and dyeing process, contrasted with the bright light from outside, he created an unusual aromatic composition where radiant leather with hints of amber embellishes powdery raspberry.

The fragrance beautifully conveys the contrast between the warm, dimly lit interior of the workshop and the vibrant brightness of the outside world.

The composition centers around notes of raspberry, leather, and ambrofix. Smoky leather nuances intertwine with warm amber and juicy berry accents.

In this aromatic composition, the sweetness of ripe, velvety raspberries gradually transitions into the scent of expertly tanned leather, eventually dissolving into a shimmering, salty-resinous haze of ambroxan. The scent of spicy raspberry leaves and the subtle floral aroma of violet add brightness to the composition, while pink pepper envelops the fragrance, infusing it with the uniqueness of Morocco. Coniferous-smoky cedar and musk give the perfume depth and texture, while the smoky-aromatic incense imparts a special mysticism.
